What is Gyukatsu?
GYUKATSU is a Japanese style deep-fried beef cutlet. However, different from other types of deep-fried katsu you may be familiar with, GYUKATSU offers a completely different taste and experience from any dish you’ve had before.
肉 | We make our famous GYUKATSU by frying top grade beef quickly at a high temperature. This way the flavour and juiciness of the medium rare beef is completely locked inside the thinly coated breadcrumbs.

How To eat gyukatsu
Our Japanese soy sauce is slow cooked with dashi stock in order to release its unique sweetness and full flavour. Pairing with wasabi, this is the classic way to enjoy GYUKATSU.
Sansho is one of the most popular spices in Kyoto. With a distinct savoury scent, Kyoto Pepper Salt will give your GYUKATSU a kick of undeniable flavour.
With the natural sweetness of fresh vegetables, our Worcester Sauce is made specially for GYUKATSU. Add ground sesame to the sauce and bring out the complete flavour.
We use Red Miso for the rich yet smooth flavour, our Kyoto Style Miso Soup goes down perfectly with GYUKATSU.
